Despite getting mixed reviews, Ilayathalapathy Vijay's 'Bairavaa' which has released for the Pongal festival weekend has been doing great business at the box office everywhere.

The much loved star will be starting his next project currently referred to as 'Thalapathy 61'. This film will be directed by Atlee and produced by Sri Thenandal Films banner. Kajal Aggarwal will be the female lead.

Earlier it was said that the film's shoot will commence in USA as predominant portions of the film will be shot over there. But now Sources reveal that the shooting of the film will start in Chennai in the first fortnight of February, 2017. The unit will move to USA in April and will be spending the entire summer in foreign locations to shoot the film.

Buzz is that the film will be shot in a few other countries apart from America.
