Thalapathy Vijay is fast cementing his position as the topmost star in the South Indian cinema after his recent release 'Bigil' reportedly grossing 300 Crores. Subsequently all the rights of his next movie 'Master' including satellite, streaming, Overseas and Indian domestic have been sold for record breaking amounts even before the shooting is half way through.

Now North Indian media has reported that a Bollywood corporate production house has approached Vijay for a new movie and it is said that the salary that is being negotiated is rupees 100 Crores plus GST of 18 Crores to be paid in full upfront. Sources swear that the deal is on the verge of getting through and that the corporate is ready to seal the deal since Vijay has proved a business of close to 140 Crores in Tamil Nadu alone.

Industry analysts are of the opinion that if this deal becomes final then Vijay will become the highest paid actor in the country as the Khans and Akshay Kumar only collect advance of 30 percent and take a share in the profits which may sometimes be lesser than expected. It is however still unknown if this report is true and if so whether it is for 'Thalapathy 65' or the next after that.
