Actor Suriya was last seen on screen in the KV Anand directed action thriller Kaappaan which had him paired with Sayyeshaa and also starred Mohanlal, Arya, Samuthirakani, Poorna and next, the actor is getting ready for the release of Soorarai Pottru this summer.

After Soorarai Pottru directed by Sudha Kongara, Suriya will be joining hands with director Hari, with whom he has given hits like Aaru, Vel, Singam series and this movie is expected to be produced by Suriya himself in his 2D Entertainment banner.

The latest news making rounds is that this movie of Suriya directed by Hari, which might be a family mass entertainer might have Malavika Mohanan who is pairing with Vijay in Master, and earlier paired with Sasikumar in Petta, as the female lead. An official clarification is expected soon on this speculation.
