It is a trend that Kollywood is always famous for. It is always very eager to repeat a winning team.

In the event, it is no surprise that the success of Thirupachi is bringing together director Perarsu and Vijay together again.

The duo is all set to join hands for a movie titled Sivakasi.

After Thirupachi, a town famous for sickles, they come together for Sivakasi, a town known for its crackers.

Going by the title one can expect fireworks (actions) all through the movie. The film would go to floors this May and would be a grand Deepavali release. Sivakasi for Deepavali will be doubly apt.

Efforts are also on to cast Trisha opposite Vijay in the movie. A hat trick of sorts it would be for Vijay-Trisha combo, who had earlier acted together in Ghilli and Thirupachi.

Perarasu says, "the movie would be another action packed venture aimed at Vijay's fans."

Sivakasi would be produced by A M Rathinam.
