Vijay gets his sums right

It doesn't matter whether Thirupachi is a good movie or not. It has all the beginnings of a big hit. Vijay's fans are just lapping it up. The openings have been great and the queues in the cinema halls are not shortening.

Critics may not be too convinced but Vijay, who sticks to his own formula for films is doubly vindicated. His mix of songs, fights, comedy and sentiments seems just right.

Vijay has his priorities right, too. "I am not keen on playing non-commercial movies for I don't want to experiment with my career. The commercial films with racy songs and fiery stunts sequences are making it big."

"I want to do films, which my fans want. I love to watch only such kind of films and hence I venture to do only such".

Why fix something that ain't broken, may be an American adage. But Vijay is providing its Indian interpretation.
