Ilayathalapathy Vijay's birthday is round the corner and the fans are busy in the preparation for the grand celebration of their icon;s special day falling on Thursday (June 22).

As it has been the phenomenon for the past few years, this year's birthday of Vijay will be marked by the screening of his past super hit films. This time this kind of celebration will extend to other states and also overseas locations.

There will be a special screening of 'Thuppakki' in a movie hall in Melbourne, Australia. Many theaters in Tamil Nadu including a popular multiplex located in the hart of Chennai will be screening Vijay blockbusters such as 'Pokkiri', 'Nanban', 'Thuppakki', 'Kaththi' and 'Theri'.

Now we learn that there will be special screening of Vijay's 2016 mega blockbuster 'Theri,' in not one but two theaters in Bangalore, the capital city of the neighboring state of Karnataka.

And in Kerala, considered as the fortress fortress of Vijay, blockbuster films of the star such as 'Ghilli', 'Pokkiri', 'Velayudham', Thuppakki' and 'Kaththi' will be screened in as many as 22 cities across the state.

This proves beyond doubt that Vijay commands a huge fan base in not just Tamil Nadu but also in the neighboring states as well as other parts of the world. This he has achieved by sticking to his policy of acting only in Tamil films.
