Vijay's fans break their own laptops, mixies

In a song in 'Sarkar', people throw freebies (mixies, grinders, etc) provided by the government into the fire. They do it to declare that they need empowerment, not freebies.
A day after the film's release, AIADMK party workers protested against these very shots in the movie and also against the fact that villain Varalaxmi Sarathkumar's character is named Komalavalli, the original name of late Jayalalitha. Agitated party workers took to streets to tear up the posters and banners of 'Sarkar'.
Angered by the developments, some emotional fans of Vijay have broken the laptops, mixies and grinders provided by the AIADMK government and uploaded it on the Internet. This is a form of protest to them? Pitiable mindset!
