A group of people representing Ilayathalapathy Vijay Fan club in Kanyakumari has lodged a police complaint against social media pages trolling the actor.

Last week a popular troll page run by a person claiming himself to be an Ajith fan was banned by the Facebook in response to the complaints received from SKT Studios, the production company of Vijay's latest film 'Puli' which is still running in theaters.

The administrator of that troll page has immediately opened a new page with the same name and got thousands of 'likes' and followers. Apparently the page which was banned for trolling 'Puli' has also been recovered.

This has provoked the Vijay fan club members to approach the Police officials to complain about the page and ban it through the Cyber crime division In their complaint the fans have mentioned that the page is used to defame Vijay who has initiated various people welfare measures through his fan clubs and also his family members which hurts the lakhs and lakhs of Vijay fans.
