Liger's Fandom Tour was held on Sunday in Warangal. Attended by thousands of movie buffs and fans, the event was a super-successful one. Speaking on the occasion, Puri Jagannadh described Vijay Deverakonda as a one-of-his-kind actor whose priority is the producer's well-being more than the monetary benefits he can derive from a project.
"Vijay is one actor who wants monies to be spent on production more than the advance remuneration he is entitled to get paid. If you send him, say, Rs 2 Cr during production towards his fees, he asks the money to be used towards repayment of the producer's debts. In today's times, nobody is this kind," Puri said.
"When this project was begun, Vijay's father told me to look after his son as my son. On his part, Vijay looked after me like he looks after his father," the 'iSmart Shankar' director added.
'Liger' has got Vishu Reddy as the main villain, while Mike Tyson and Ronit Roy have prominent male roles alongside female stars Ananya Panday and Ramya Krishna. The film releases in multiple languages on Aug 25.
