There is a hot news doing the rounds in Chennai film industry circles that Suriya will be starring in a new movie to be produced by his cousin K.E. Gnanavelraja under the Studio Green banner. The film is reportedly a dual hero subject and Vijay Deverakonda is believed to be in talks to do the parallel lead.
The project will obviously be a bilingual in Tamil and Telugu and is in a very initial stage and official confirmation is expected only a few months later after all the formalities are worked out according to the sources.
If true, this project will be big because Suriya is one Tamil actor who has a wide following in the Telugu States. And the film will definitely boost the profile of the 'Geetha Govindam' actor in Tamil Nadu.
Meanwhile, Deverakonda's Telugu-Tamil bilingual 'NOTA', produced by Studio Green and directed by Anand Shankar, is hitting the screens worldwide on October 5th.
As for Suriya, he is currently acting simultaneously in 'NGK' (directed by Selvaraghavan) and 'Suriya 37' (directed by K.V. Anand), which is a multistarrer with Mohan Lal, Arya, Samuthirakani, Boman Irani and Sayyeeshaa in the cast. His next after these two movies will be directed by Sudha Kongara of 'Irudhi Suttru' fame for which the pre-production is already underway.
