Vijay Deverakonda is a notable Pan-Indian star in the film industry. The actor teamed up with director Puri Jagannadh for his recent film 'Liger', which was released on August 25 in theatres. The movie garnered very poor reviews from the very first show and ended up as a disaster.
Meanwhile, Vijay Deverakonda and Puri Jagannadh announced their second venture together even before the release of 'Liger'. Their second project was titled 'Jana Gana Mana' aka 'JGM', to be produced by Puri Jagannadh and Charmme Kaur. As per the latest reports, the makers have decided to shelve the 'JGM' movie.
According to India Today, a source confirmed that Jana Gana Mana has been shelved. After the poor box office performance of Liger, Vijay Deverakonda sat and spoke with Puri Jagannadh and Charmme Kaur about the budget for their upcoming film. After careful deliberation, they decided to shelve the project before embarking on the Morocco schedule of the film.
On the work front, Vijay Deverakonda has 'Kushi' which stars Samantha as the female lead.
