Karan Johar's upcoming production venture 'Liger' was already hyped for being the Bollywood debut of Telugu superstar Vijay Deverakonda. Since Ananya Pandey is playing the female lead in it, 'Liger' became a pan Indian project. Recently, there's been a new addition to film's cast and it is sure to hype the film to new levels. Karan has managed to bring an international star onboard for his film.

From what we know so far, 'Liger' is based on the theme of mixed martial arts and makers have found someone with a familiar background and considerable star power for a part in the film. Former boxing champion and one of the greatest athletes of all time, Mike Tyson has joined the cast of this film. Karan Johar shared a clip on Twitter announcing Tyson's involvement and wrote, "For the first time ever, the king of the ring will be seen on the big screens of Indian cinema! Welcoming @MikeTyson to the #LIGER team! #NamasteTyson."

Tyson has previously worked in Hollywood movies like 'The Hangover' series, 'Ip Man' and several others. This will be his first acting role in an Indian film. He previously made a brief appearance in the film 'Fool N Final'. It is being specualated that Iron Mike will play the main antagonist in the film.
