Hours after premieres were completed in the US, Vijay Deverakonda could sense that 'Geetha Govindam' would become a blockbuster.  He could see the "mania" and use the term in his tweet that thanked the three directors who have made his career.  

"Thank you Nag Ashwin. Thank you Tharun Bhascker. Thank you Sandeep Reddy Vanga. For putting me here.  This Mania is your creation, you unleashed me," the actor said.

When Nag Ashwin cast him in 'Yevade Subrahmanyam', Deverakonda was a non-entity. Yet, he made an impact in a film that starred Nani.  Tharun Bhascker's 'Pelli Choopulu' in 2016 changed the budding actor's career forever.  Sandeep's 'Arjun Reddy' made him a star.  And 'Geetha Govindam' is turning out to be yet another big thing.
