In a recent interview, Vijay Devarakonda has trolled the hero-worshipping culture in Tamil Nadu politics. When the interviewer of a Tamil news channel asked the 'NOTA' actor what he finds funny about Tamil politics, the rising star immediately replied that activists/cadres falling to the ground and worshipping when the Chief Minister's helicopter is moving in the skies (obviously referring to late Chief Minister Jayalalitha).
According to Devarakonda, party members wearing transparent shirts and keeping a picture of thier leader inside the pocket to show their loyalty seems funny to him.
The dashing young hero also shared that, in 'NOTA', there is a dialogue that Nassar speaks to his party men. "He tells them not to bend too low when he is coming as they may forget his face and build a statue of somebody else after he dies," the 'Geetha Govindam' actor revealed.
'NOTA', directed by Anand Shankar, is hitting the screens on Oct 5.
