"BLOOD. SWEAT. VIOLENCE (sic)," Vijay Deverakonda today wrote on Twitter, announcing that the production works of 'Liger' are on. A heavy-duty, kickboxing-based action flick, 'Liger' is a Puri Jagannadh directorial.

The icing on the cake was the BTS pic that the 'Geetha Govindam' actor shared. We see a bare-bodied Deverakonda raring to trump the unseen opponent in the kickboxing ring.

In July, the 'Arjun Reddy' star said that 65% of the shoot was over. The actor added that small-scale portions involving only a small number of people were completed successfully before the pandemic. "There are complex scenes that require 1000 people to be present on sets. Such complicated scenes have been pending," the actor said.

Starring Ananya Pandey, Ramya Krishnan and others, the film is a pan-India release.
