Vijay Deverakonda-Puri Jagannadh’s ‘JGM’ launched!

‘JGM’. That’s the title of Puri Jagannadh’s second movie with Vijay Deverakonda. The title is an acronym for ‘Jana Gana Mana’. To be released in five languages (Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada), ‘JGM’ was launched today in style.

Speaking about the project, the ‘Pokiri’ and ‘iSmart Shankar’ director said, “The film has got a strong narrative and it is the ultimate action entertainer.” He is penning the film’s story, dialogues and screenplay.

Vijay Devarakonda has shot for Puri’s ‘Liger’ already. He today said that he is supremely excited about the new project. “This is one of the most striking and challenging scripts ever. The story is special and it will touch every Indian,” he said.

If ‘Liger’ will be released in theatres this August, ‘JGM’ will hit the screens on August 3, 2023. It will go on the floors next month.
