Vijay Deverakonda provoking piracy gangs?

"I often wonder why only my films are being pirated. It happened with 'Geetha Govindam' and 'Taxiwaala'." These are Vijay Deverakonda's recent words in an interview. When almost the entire length of these movies was leaked even before their theatrical release, the makers were shell-shocked. They spent sleepless nights while Deverakonda kept asking, 'Why only me?'

As luck would have it, box-office collections of these movies were not affected by the piracy. Speaking at the success meet of 'Taxiwaala' on Friday, Deverakonda once again spoke of how the resolve of the makers of his movie to never give up in the face of piracy ultimately paid off.

He went a step ahead and showed his famous middle finger all over again to the damned piracy wallahs. He almost shamed the "faceless enemies" called pirates into thinking that their evil energy can't affect his rising superstardom. "Sorry, guys, for making even children shame you," Deverakonda indirectly ridiculed them!

While several films have been victims of piracy, not all heroes take on the pirates so personally as Deverakonda does. He has made it a fight between him and the pirates, and it's as if the latter have a special antipathy towards the chap!

In this context, some commentators are saying that Deverakonda might just have provoked the pirates to go after his upcoming movies as well with his devil-may-care attitude. They are finding a parallel in Vishal, who has time and again warned that piracy sites like Tamilrockers will be finished by him.

Deverakonda, for all we know, is a Rowdy. He will get his 'henchmen' (fans) raise a middle finger to the villains every time they buy a ticket at the ticket counter.
