Tollywood hero Vijay Deverakonda had gained immense popularity across south with just three movies - Pellichoopulu, Arjun Reddy and Geetha Govindam, and following the success of these movies, the actor had attempted to venture into Kollywood as well, with the bilingual NOTA.

Directed by Anand Shankar, though the film received lukewarm response, Vijay Deverakonda is back to attempt yet again in Tamil. This time around, he is coming with a multilingual project which will be made in all south languages - Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.

It has been made official that Vijay Deverakonda's next big multilingual project has been titled Hero, and directed by Anand Annamalai, the dialogue writer of Kaaka Muttai, the film produced by Mythri Movie Makers will begin shooting from April 22 in New Delhi. Malavika Mohanan is playing one of the female leads, and the other details will be revealed soon.
