Vijay Deverakonda has featured on Dabboo Ratnani's 2021 calendar. What makes this debut special is that the 'Arjun Reddy' actor is the first south Indian star to feature on the Dabboo calendar franchise.

The actor is seen sporting his 'Liger' look in it. Speaking about teaming up with the celeb photographer, who has been bringing out the calendar for 22 years, Vijay said, "I knew that someday I would be featured on his calendar. I was just not prepared mentally. I wanted 'Liger' to be out first. I wanted people to first see a film of mine. But when the offer to feature on the calendar came to me in January this year, I was at a hotel and I didn't want to procrastinate."

Vijay further added, "I remember how it all happened after a quick chat at the hotel. I took off my shirt, did push-ups, sat on the motorcycle and I was done!"

Dabboo said that the calendar is like a teaser for the full look (to be seen in 'Liger'). "I found him a little shy, a little reserved," Dabboo commented on the 'Geetha Govindam' star. He added that he had never imagined that Vijay would be that shy.

Answering a fan's query, Vijay said that he abuses himself when he feels he is being lazy.
