On the birthday of K Chandrasekhar Rao, a number of Tollywood celebs, including Megastar Chiranjeevi and Mahesh Babu, had effusive wishes for the Chief Minister. However, none of them was as adulatory and colourful as Vijay Deverakonda’s. The actor made it a point to project the TRS supremo as the one who has changed the face of Telangana. He made a not-so-subtle mention of his developmentalism.
“You fought for this state, its people, its water, its electricity, it staying green, its development. I wish you a happy birthday and wish you great health, wish you to keep fighting for us and leading the state! (sic),” Deverakonda wrote, not concealing his admiration for KCR.
In contrast, Mahesh Babu wrote a less politically assertive wish. “KCR garu a very Happy Birthday. May your leadership continue to uplift our state. Good health and happiness always! (sic),” the ‘Sarkaru Vaari Paata’ actor tweeted.
On the work front, VD awaits the release of ‘Liger’ on September 9.
