Recently, after Vijay Deverakonda said that he prefers benevolent dictatorship over democracy, there was a lot of hue and cry. Bollywood actor Gulshan Devaiah took to Twitter and hit out at the 'Arjun Reddy' actor. He tweeted, "I suggest a haircut to release some pressure on the khopdi (sic)."
Vijay's younger brother and actor Anand Deverakonda got offended by the tweet. Hitting back at Gulshan, he wrote, "Maybe a khopdi with actual substance would understand the context first before making personal comments on social media (sic)."
A number of social media influencers have ridiculed Vijay's comments.
On the work front, Vijay will have a release in the form of Puri Jagannadh's 'Fighter' in 2021. As for Anand, his second film, 'Middle Class Melodies', will start streaming on Amazon Prime from November 20. His first film, 'Dorasani', released in 2019.
