Tollywood youth icon Vijay Deverakonda, known for his hits like Pellichoopulu, Arjun Reddy and Geetha Govindam, is constantly making attempts to widen his reach to Tamil audience as well, as he made his Tamil debut with the bilingual movie NOTA, the political thriller directed by Anand Shankar.

Next he is all set to reach Tamil audience with the Tamil/Telugu bilingual movie Hero directed by Anand Annamalai who had written Kaaka Muttai, and this movie was launched this week. Hero will have Petta fame Malavika Mohanan as Vijay Deverakonda's pair, and the film begin shooting in Delhi from May 22.

It has been revealed that Vijay Deverakonda plays a bike racer in the movie and he will be trained by Rajini Krishnan, a bike racing champion who has won several international championships. Malavika Mohanan will reportedly play a musician and Hero will have music by Pradeep Kumar. It must be noted that Siva Karthikeyan's movie with PS Mithran has also been titled as Hero.
