Vijay Devarakonda said, "I am learning acting only of late. I am feeling proud to have bagged the movie. I was excited when I heard the script. I am doing a bilingual for the first time. I am excited about shooting for this one. I am as anxious as I was when I wrote Board exams. In the beginning, I didn't have dates for this movie. But I rejigged my schedule to accommodate dates for this movie. I wanted to do it come what may."
The producer said, "I watched 'Arjun Reddy' five times in the theatre. Vijay is an amazing actor. I am happy to be working with him. Vijay is our first hero in Telugu. Shanta's cinematography, CS Shyam's music, and Kiran's art direction are going to be a few of the highlights. We will shoot in Hyderabad from March 8. The second schedule will happen in Chennai."
The director said, "I am happy that Vijay was very excited on listening to the script. We all know how his performance in 'Arjun Reddy' was appreciated. He has told us he is learning Tamil to say the dialogues. That's his commitment. Sathyaraj and Nasser will be seen in key roles in our film."
Mehreen said, "I have done a Holi song with Vijay. And now, I am doing a film as a full-fledged heroine with him. I am excited to do this project."
