Vijay completes 20 years in Kollywood

Illayathalapathy Vijay is completing 20 years as of today in Kollywood. The actor has completed 54 films in this time and has delivered several hits periodically in the Tamil industry. The actor has just completed his success run with Thuppakki after delivering another hit in the form of Nanban early this January.

Many of Vijay's films have went on to become hits. The long list of films include Poove Unakkaga, Love Today, Kadhalukku Mariyadhai, Priyamudan, Thulladha Manamum Thullum, Kushi, Priyamaanavale, Friends, Ghilli, Thirupaachi, Sivakasi, Pokkiri, Kaavalan, Velayudham, Nanban and Thuppakki. After the setting the stage on fire several times over the years, one can look at Vijay's career and be impressed by his statistics of producing hits. Despite several names appearing on and off Kollywood, the actor has managed to stay on track with his films and continually hold on his own with his growing number of fans.

Starting tomorrow, Vijay will begin his 21st year in Tamil cinema, and his next project is opposite Amala Paul with Director A.L.Vijay. Let's wait and see how many more milestones this guy can touch during his career.
