Suriya is basking in the praises he is receiving for the intense performance in dual roles in Massu Engira Masssilamani`. It is common knowledge that Vijay and Suriya are friends from college days itself and also shared screen space in two films as well as a documentary.

Suriya during the promo work of Massu` in Kerala spoke about how Vijay had such a huge following in Kerala during Friends` days itself. It comes as no surprise that Vijay who had seen Massu` was very much impressed with Suriya`s performance and immediately called his friend and congratulated him. Nice show of solidarity from Tamil Cinema`s two biggest stars.
