The audio launch of Vijay starrer Bigil, directed by Atlee was held today in Chennai. The movie has music by AR Rahman, and produced by AGS entertainment also stars Nayanthara, Kathir, Indhuja, Daniel Balaji, Reba Monica John and Vivek.

As always, Vijay's speech had some interesting lines for fans to rejoice, and here's an excerpt of his entertaining speech: Vijay began praising Atlee with his punchline "'Suda suda aavi parakkum, adhu idli aanalum sari, Atlee aanalum sari". Vijay went on to motivate his fans with philosophical lines like "Life is also like a football game, we try to score goals but many try to stop them.. sometimes even people known to us score same side goals", "Don't be like someone else, be unique, be original".

Vijay called lyricist Vivek a vera level man and praised actor Soundar Raja for his social welfare activities. He praised lady superstar Nayanthara as well, saying that in a movie that speaks about women winning, it's a pride that Nayanthara who was won in life has acted.

On singing verithanam track, Vijay said, he sang a sample track of Verithanam and sent it to Rahman when he was in Mumbai. When he thought he didn't want to use the version, Atlee called him and told that Rahman had called him for a recording. Vijay said he was surprised, and that Atlee motivated him.

Regarding online fan wars, he said "people must respect enemies and opponents too. I respect people handling social media hatred well. People who spread hatred must focus and use their energies, hashtags, and trends for social issues". When host Ramya asked him of his political plan, he said people can do any damage to him or his posters, banners, but must never touch or harm his fans. He also spoke of Subhashree who recently got killed due to illegal banners, and said instead of taking action on people who are really responsible, the action is taken on people like lorry driver and printers and that people must trend a hashtag for this.

Vijay came up with a sensational one-liner "Arasiyal la pugundhu vilayadunga but vilayyattula arasiyala kondu varadheenga!". Vijay said, if the right people are made to sit in the right place, things will be good (" Evana enga okkara vekkanumo avana anga okkara vecha ellam nalla irukum").When the topic of pray for Nesamani memes came up, and a Nesamani meme was displayed, Vijay said "I laughed hard when Nesamani was trending. During the scene's shooting, Suriya had controlled his laughter but I was laughing uncontrollably".

When another host Mirchi Shiva questioned Vijay on how he maintains the same face always, and in any situation, Vijay came up with a hearty, warm smile, that would've definitely made the day for all die-hard fans of Vijay who had travelled the distance, braved the crowd and rains to get a glimpse of their beloved Thalapathy. Following this, the whole team came up on stage, and AR Rahman's Bigil album was launched.
