Thalapathy Vijay's 65th film, 'Beast', directed by Nelson, is all set to rule the screens worldwide from April 14. The top actor's first 66th movie will mark his first direct Telugu venture directed by Vamshi Paidipally. The Tamil-Telugu bilingual project's shooting will kickstart in April and 'Thalapathy 66' will be released for Diwali 2022 or Pongal 2023.

Meanwhile, the speculations over the Thuppakki actor's 67th and 68th films are already doing rounds on the internet. While it was earlier reported that director Atlee, who gave three back-to-back blockbusters with Vijay, will direct the star next, the latest reports suggest that the 'Master' director Lokesh Kanagaraj will be directing Vijay again in 'Thalapathy 67'.

Reportedly, Lokesh, who recently wrapped up the shooting of Kamal Haasan starrer 'Vikram', will start the works of 'Thalapathy 67' after the theatrical release of 'Vikram'. Vijay usually announces his next movie only after he finishes the work for his current project. So, 'Thalapathy 67' is expected to be announced during or after the filming of 'Thalapathy 66'.

On the other hand, some credible sources whisper that Atlee will be joining with Vijay once again for 'Thalapathy 68', most probably after completing the works for 'Lion' with Shah Rukh Khan and Nayanthara. Coming back to 'Beast', the big-budget invasion thriller's audio launch is most likely to happen on March 20 in Chennai.
