Friday Film House is now in a middle of controversy regarding ownership between Vijay Babu and Sandra Thomas. Meanwhile another storm is brewing up. Director of Adi Kappyare Kutta Mani` John Varghese is in no mood for a settlement, he is taking the battle legally.

His film was produced by Friday Film House. It is alleged by the director that the production house is not allowing him to remake the film in Tamil. The story and script was co-written by him. The director has now approached the court for redress.

The director first wrote the script for a Tamil film, when it didn`t happen, they approached Friday Film House and that is how Adi Kappyare Kutta Mani` took place.

Post the Malayalam film, they thought of Tamil version again and this was objected by the production house. While shooting the film, the producers had made him sign some papers and that in now used against him when he started the Tamil work.

The director had discussion with actor Jeeva for the Tamil project which is now stalled due to the objection of Friday Film House.
