Thalapathy Vijay is currently acting in his 63rd movie Bigil, directed by Atlee, their third movie after two blockbusters Theri and Mersal. The movie is produced by AGS Entertainment, and has music by AR Rahman, who is composing music for Vijay - Atlee combo again after Mersal.

The first and second look posters of Bigil which were released on June 22 on eve of Vijay's birthday had created huge expectations on the movie, and there were lot of predictions on Vijay's characters and doubts over whether Vijay plays dual roles or not, and now here's an interesting detail on Vijay's characters.

While it has been confirmed that Vijay appears in dual roles as father and son, with son being named as Clement Michael, coach of women's football team and father character being that of a don, Ramana Giri, the dialogue writer of Bigil had revealed in an interview that, opposed to the predictions of fans that father Vijay might appear in flashback, both the father and Vijay will be seen in present and will be appearing together. Quite an exciting news for Vijay fans waiting for double treat!
