According to reports Thalapathy Vijay has bought a new apartment in a posh are in the heart of Chennai city. It is said that he has shelled out the astronomical price of rupees thirty five crores for the property. Although Vijay his wife Sangeetha and children Divya Saasha and Jason Sanjay live in the ECR area in a palatial house his office was functioning at his old house in Adayar.

It is said that now Vijay has decided to shift his office to the new luxury apartment in the City while his Adayar property will be used for the Vijay Makkal Iyakkam activities. Vijay's neighbour in the building is going to be none other than actor Arya who already owns a flat in there.

On the professional front Vijay is currently shooting for 'Varisu' directed by Vamshi Paidipally and will move on to 'Thalapathy 67' directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj by the end of the year. On the other hand Arya's alien invasion thriller 'Captain' directed by Shakti Soundarajan is all set to storm the screens on September 8th.
