It is well know that Thalapathy Vijay will be teaming up with his lucky director A.R.Muruagadoss for the third time after 'Thuppakki' and 'Kaththi' the two mega blockbuster flicks. This will be the actor's 62nd film.

Thalapathy fans celebrated the Deepavali festival in theaters with 'Mersal' which turned out to be a mega hit. The film released on October 18, 2017 and now it is still running successfully in theatres.

Now comes the next good news for every Thalapathy fan out there. Sources reveal that 'Thalapathy 62' will be formally launched with a pooja today (January 19). The film produced by Sun Pictures banner will have A.R.Rahman's music score.

Earlier this month. Vijay took part in the preliminary photo shoot for the film and he was dazzlingly young and energetic in the pictures and videos.
