The Indian music industry has been at the receiving end of online piracy with millions of illegal downloads from online sites. However, music director/actor Vijay Antony has come out with an unique approach to combat the issue- to download his music free of cost from his offical website- yes, you read it right.

Stating that he was worried about the loss of quality in songs while downloaded illegaly by users, he expressed that he wanted fans to listen to his songs the way he wanted them to without compromising the quality.  Vijay Antony also admitted that for him reach is more important and that this may help create a lot impact for his movies if the songs do create a connect with the audience beforehand

The music composer also said that he will continue to release his songs free of cost in his website for his upcoming films in the future as well.
