Recently, the unanimously acclaimed blockbuster 'Thani Oruvan' was remade in Bengali and it turned out to be a super hit. Now we learn from a reliable source that another Tamil blockbuster of the year 2015 is heading for a Bengali remake.

Sources reveal that negotiations are on for Vijay Anotny's 'Pichaikkaran' to be remade in Bengali. Details about the project will be announced soon.

'Pichakkaran' directed by Sasi is a big blockbuster and also critically acclaimed for its emotional content. The film was dubbed and released in Telugu as 'Bichagadu' and that created a new box office history by collecting Rs.25 crores which is a phenomenal amount for a dubbed film.

The film is also being remade in Kannada by Yogish Dwarakish with Ajai Rao in the lead role.
