After Naan`, Salim` and India Pakistan` Vijay Antony is donning the triple hats of Hero, Music Director and Producer of an interestingly titled fim Pitchaikkaran` directed by Sasi of Dishyum` and 555` fame. The film has Satna Titus as the heroine.

The film deals with the theme that each and every single soul becomes a beggar at some point in their lives, not only for money but for love and respect. Vijay Antony revealed that he is a big fan director Sasi who has given such different films like Sollamale', 'Roja Kootam', 'Dishyum', 'Poo' & '555 ' and when he narrated the story of Pitchaikkaran` for three hours he was immediately taken in and agreed to act and produce the film.

Interestingly it was Vijay Antony who suggested the title Pitchaikkaran` while the director was apprehensive about it having a negative impact. Vijay Antony promises an entertainer which is slated for a release in the month of November.
