Vijay Antony's long awaited 'Pichaikkaran 2' is all set to storm screens worldwide on May 19th. The film marks his debut as director while he has also served as the music composer, singer, editor and producer.

It is well known that during the shooting of a song in Malaysia, Vijay Antony met with a freak boating accident and almost drowned. He was saved by the heroine Kavya Thapar and Arjun and assistant cameraman. The multitalented entertainer suffered a broken nose and dislocated jaw but recovered in a couple of months.

Vijay Antony has released the video song 'Kalloorum Poove" and has revealed that the accident occurred after the last shot. The visuals shot on a luxury boat show a never before seen level of sensuality in the hero's career so far and the stunning visuals of the Malaysian sea and beach is pleasant.

'Pichaikkaran 2' has in the cast Vijay Antony, Kavya Thapar, Dato Radha Ravi, Y G Mahendran, Mansoor Ali Khan, Hareesh Peradi, John Vijay, Dev Gill and Yogi Babu.
