The picture instantly grabbed the attention of the netizens and the actor was praised for his simplicity. He was also compared with actors Vijay and Silambarasan, who also were spotted doing the same while shooting for their respective films 'Jilla' and 'Maanaadu'.

'Ratham' first look poster was released weeks back, and it received a good response from fans and movie lovers. The film is jointly produced by Kamal Bohra, Lalitha Dhananjayan, B Pradeep, Pankaj Bohra, and S Vikram Kumar.
