Music director and hero Vijay Antony had scored a comeback hit after some failures like Thimiru Pudichavan and Annadurai, with this year's release Kolaigaran directed by Andrew Louis, and co-starring Action King Arjun and Ashima Narwal.

Now Vijay Antony is acting in several movies and one of them is Khaki, which is directed by Senthilkumar, who had previously directed Vaimai starring Shanthanu. This movie will again have Vijay Antony as a police officer, and the movie has been produced by Open Theater production.

It has been revealed that actress Indhuja, who has acted in Meyadha Maan and is set to star in Vijay's Bigil will play the female lead in Khaki. Khaki also stars Srikanth, Sathyaraj and Eswari rao. The movie's release rights have been bagged by Infiniti Film Ventures Dhananjayan G, Kamal Bohra and Diya movies and the movie is expected to release in December.
