Vijay Antony has not only impressed fans as an able music composer but has also proved his mettle as a capable performer through his movies like ‘Naan’, ‘Salim’ etc. But what remains a wish with fans is that if Vijay too will don the khakis, the heroic ritual that Tamil stars have to traverse in their celluloid journey. 

Much to the excitement of fans, Vijay Antony will be dressed to the nines as a solid cop in his upcoming ‘Thimiru Pudichavan’ directed by Ganeshaa. While we have seen the actor in roles that usually tread the path of villanism/against the law (think ‘Naan’, ‘Anna Durai’ et al), his cop role in ‘Thimuru Pudichavan’ will be a newer treat for fans.

The film is said to to be high on intensity with action and social relevance. The director also explains that unlike the run-of-the-mill hero-villain drivels, ‘Thimuru Pudichavan’ will have ‘mind-games’ incorporated in the story which will make it all the more better. 

The film is set to be out in both tamil and Telugu versions. Vijay Antony will be scoring the music for the film while the full details of the cast and crew is expected to be released by the makers shortly.
