Composer and actor Vijay Antony's next film 'Pichaikkaran' directed by Sasi of 'Poo' fame is getting ready for release. The film has been produced by Vijay Antony's home banner.

Recently a promotional song for the film titled as 'Glamour song' has been released and that has created a controversy against the film.

The particular couplet of the song allegedly blames caste based Reservation system followed in allotting medical college seats, for death of patients undergoing surgery. This has incurred criticisms from activists working for social equality and also among social media users.

There have been calls to change, mute or remove the objectionable lines from the song. The song has been composed by the film's music director Vijay Antony and lyrics written by Lohan.
