It was earlier announced that Vijay Antony's blockbuster movie, 'Pichaikkaran', will have a sequel. Initially, the project was set to be directed by another director but the composer turned actor himself had taken up the role for the work to himself.

Vijay Antony will be donning the director hat for the first time in Pichaikkran 2 while the outing is produced by his wife Fatima Vijay Antony under his production banner Vijay Antony Film Corporation. On March 12, he took to his social media handles to reveal his character poster from the upcoming film.

Vijay Antony will be locking horns with a character named 'Bikili' and featured as 'Anti Bikili' in the poster. The poster is doing rounds on the internet questioning Bikili's identity. Sharing the poster, he wrote, "I’m the #ANTIBIKILI in #pichaikkaran2 #bichagadu2 Then who is #BIKILI ?" (sic). Some credible sources report that Vijay Antony will be playing a dual role as Bikili and Anti Bikili.

'Pichaikkaran 2' features Vijay Antony, John Vijay, and Hareesh Paredi among others, while the team has kept most of the characters a secret. On the work front, Vijay Antony is also working on 'Khaki', 'Kolai', 'Ratham' and 'Mazhai Pidikatha Manithan' while his 'Agni Siragugal' is gearing up for a release.
