The final leg of shooting for Illayathalapathy Vijay`s Theri` directed by Atlee is going on now and is expected to wrap up by Pongal. The film produced by Kalaipuli Thanu has an ensemble cast comprising of Samantha, Amy Jackson, Sathyaraj, Prabhu, Radhika, Mottai Rajendran and legendary director Mahendran.

An interesting trivia is that Vijay has previously acted as a child artiste in Ithu Engal Needhi` in which Radhika played the central character and now after twenty six years the two are sharing screen space in Theri`
