Several weeks back Indiaglitz had reported that Vijay and A.R.Murugdoss are expected to retain there Thuppakki sentiment by releasing their second film for Diwali. Now the director himself has confirmed that they are planning to release the ‘Vijay 57’ film for the festival of lights. It is to be remembered that Thuppakki released on Diwali 2012 and was declared as a blockbuster of that year.

This yet to be titled Vijay-Murugdoss project is rapidly progressing and the shoot is expected to be completed within first week of September ensuring a month long time for post production work.

The film is being jointly produced by Ayngaran International and Lyca Productions. Samantha plays the lead heroine role and Anirudh is composing the music.
