Director Vignesh Shivan is celebrating his 37th birthday today and his wife Nayanthara whom he wed a few months back has given him an awesome surprise. Sharing photos from the Burj Khalifa he wrote on Instagram "A birthday filled wit pure love from a loving family...Awesome surprise by my wife... my thangam..."

The 'Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kadhal' director added " A dreamy birthday below Burj Khalifa with all my lovely people wit me ! Can’t get better and more special than this :) Always thanking God for all the lovely moments he gives me in this blessed life !. Vicky' s mother and sister also joined the couple in the special celebration of his big day.

On the professional front Nayanthara's lineup of films include the biggies 'Godfather', 'Gold', 'Jawan', 'Connect' and 'Lady Superstar 75'. Her hubby on the other hand is gearing up to direct Ajith Kumar in 'AK 62' that has music by Anirudh and is produced on a grand scale by Lyca Productions.
