Vignesh Shivan & Nayanthara's Rowdy Pictures teamed up with director Ashwin Saravanan (Maya, Game Over fame) for a horror thriller starring Lady Superstar Nayanthara herself. Titled 'Connect', the makers launched the first look and an audio glimpse on the actress' 37th birthday last year.

Today, Nayanthara celebrates her 38th birthday and her hubby Vignesh Shivan presented the official theatrical teaser of Connect to the fans as a treat. The video opens with the message that it will be a 95-minute movie without intermission to be released on Christmas. The film will be a horror thriller set during the national lockdown in India.

Connect teaser is undoubtedly one of the best teasers in Kollywood as it offers the best visual and audio treatment. The 1.5-minute gives a first-person perspective experience to the audience of entering the room of the protagonist's child, which is filled with paranormal activities. The jump scare moments seem to have been well crafted and are sure to work big on the silver screens.

The teaser shows glimpses of the cast - Nayanthara, Sathyaraj, Vinay Rai, Anupam Kher and Haniya Nafisa. Prithvi Chandrasekhar's musical score, Manikantan Krishnamachary's frames and Richard Kevin's cuts are just top-notch. Connect will hit the big screens worldwide on December 22.
