Yesterday, the list of final nominees of the 92nd Academy awards was announced officially, and many popular movies were nominated in various categories. In the list dominated by movies such as 1917 and Joker, the South Korean superhit Parasite was nominated in six categories.

Directed by Bong Joon Ho, Parasite has been nominated in Best Picture, Best Director, Best Original Screenplay, Best International feature film, Best Production Design and Best editing categories, and director Vignesh Shivan, who praises good movies, has praised Parasite, and has tweeted Vetrimaaran to note that films from any part of the world can become an Oscar winner.

Vetrimaaran and Vignesh Shivan have directed segments for an upcoming Netflix anthology movie.
