Vignesh Shivan's upcoming film starring his lady love Nayanthara in the lead role alongside Vijay Sethupathi and Samantha has now been cleared for release by the Central Board of Film Certification.

The film got a U/A certificate and will hit the silver screens on April 28th. Rowdy Pictures, the production house took to its official Twitter and wrote, "'Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal' censored U/A. Releasing Worldwide on April 28." The film is co-produced by Seven Screen Studios and is distributed by Udhayanidhi Stalin under his banner Red Giant Movies.

The quirky trailer of this fun-filled film was released a few days ago and promised to be an entertainment package. KVRK was initially slated for a theatrical release in December 2021 but due to a delay in post-production, the release was postponed to April. The makers planned to simultaneously release Telugu dubbed version as Kanmani Rambo Khatija.

The film stars Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, and Samantha Ruth Prabhu, with Anirudh Ravichander scoring the music and Vijay Kartik Kannan and A. Sreekar Prasad is the cinematographer and editor respectively
