Vignesh Shivan who made his debut with the Simbu-Varalaxmi starrer 'Poda Podi' later gained fame through the blockbuster hit cult classic, 'Naanum Rowdy Dhaan' starring Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara in the lead and produced by Dhanush. The film also served as a turning point to him personally as he and Nayanthara started dating and got married eight years later in 2022.

Vignesh Shivan after delivering the super hit 'Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kadhal' starring Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara and Samantha was signed on to direct Ajith Kumar in 'AK 62' produced by Lyca Productions. However after several months of pre-production Vignesh Shivan was removed from the project and was replaced by Magizh Thirumeni.

The highly rated director with his latest cryptic message on Instagram has hinted that he is thankful for the 'AK 62' episode as it has given him time to savour his personal life especially his two newborn twin sons. The post goes like "ThankingGod and all the Kind people I met during these toughest of times your warmness and belief in me not only helped me to find myself but also gave me the confidence to survive in this unpredictable, uncertain atmosphere ! Today , am happy and looking forward to the future cos of your niceness ! My Family , friends , well wishers and some really sweet fans thank you"

The 37 year old who directed Suriya in 'Thaana Serntha Koottam' added "I thank the universe for giving me some time to breathe and feel all the moments with my babies !!! There's a lot of goodness in all the pain we go through in life and the experience of humiliation and failure teaches a lot more than what appreciation and Success could teach us ! #nevereverquit #believeinyourself #godisgood #trusttheuniverse"

Vicky also updated that he is never going to give up and is gearing up to start his sixth film soon. The project is said to be produced by Kamal Haasan and stars Pradeep Ranganathan in the lead role with Anirudh scoring the music. The official confirmation is expected soon. The photo that he has shared along with the message shows him kissing one of his sons which has garnered thousands of likes.
