In the Bigg Boss season 2 this week's eviction list included Aishwarya Menon, Mumtaz Sendrayan, Vijayalakshmi and Janani. While many expected that Aishwarya will be evicted this week as her arrogant behaviour in the reality show has not gone well with anyone, the programme's host Kamal Haasan announced yesterday that Aishwarya has been saved from eviction and she will be retained in the house.

Kamal Hasan blamed the viewers for not voting to evict Aishwarya. He said while a whopping one and a half crores vote were polled in favor of Oviya in the first season of Big Boss, the voter turnout for the season 2 has been drastically reduced. He went on to say that the number of votes polled in favour of Aishwarya was more than any other contestant on the eviction and that means only the people (viewers) have saved the controversial contestant.

However Netizens are not ready to buy this argument that only the people have saved Aishwarya. Netizens say that the voting has reduced only because the viewership has reduced. They are also raising doubts that the makers of the show have decided to retain Aishwarya till the end of the season and they are blaming the viewers to hide that.
