Dreamweaver Sameer Junaidi presented his menswear collection MAKRANDA at India Luxury Style Week 2015`, Bangalore on 14th August. The show was a successful event with Ismail Darbar and Vidyut Jamwal walking the ramp as showstoppers for Sameer Junaidi.

Inspired by the city of thousand temples, his collection is a reflection of South`s rich heritage and luxury. Luxuriously Hand-woven Kanjeevaram sarees have been transformed to elegantly form edgy, clean cut, royal Indian menswear with a hint of modernism. The sheer magnitude of textures, colours and designs of Kanjeevaram silk sarees of India is incredible. Keeping the aesthetics of the original form intact, the collection plays around cleverly with sleek silhouettes making the ensembles chic and classy.

Vivacious contrasting colours with a combination of modern and traditional motifs on the saree formed the base of his inspiration. The collection is an effort to promote the handloom industry of India.
