Vidyut Jammwal celebrates nine years of 'Commando'

Back in the year 2013, actor Vidyut Jammwal starred in the action flick 'Commando: A One Man Army' which revolutionized the way action movies are made in Bollywood. It was the first full fledged protagonist role for Vidyut in Bollywood and it established him as a super agile action star, who was adept at martial arts and parkour.
'Commando' recently completed 9 years of its theatrical release and on the ocassion, Vidyut shared few words of appreciation for the film. According to a latest report in ETimes, Vidyut said, "I'm grateful that the audience embraced the action thriller and showered so much love for the part I essayed. A hero is someone who inspires us to be better and playing Karan gave me the canvas and opportunity to make that impact."
He further added, "The film was received with quite a lot of excitement. The highlights for me were the action sequences and the stunts. Nine years of the film brings back memories of what this film meant for action movie fans." Also starring Jaideep Ahlawat and Pooja Chopra, 'Commando' was massively loved by fans and it became a franchise spawning two sequels.
